' I have an interesting thing with my 400 trail after starting on a warm engine it runs for a bit then stops, may do this once or twice until temp up and ticks over perfectly, didnt know if this had anything to do with fuel trying to get through the pump ?....or just a WK thing '
I've not used mine since doing the tank cap gasket removal mod so unsure if mine still stutter until warmed up.
Maybe mac10biker can comment?

Not had that issue on mine at all, covering around 1500 miles in the last couple of months. I haven't done the gasket and happy to leave it until it shows any signs of needing done.

The only issue I have had so far has been replacing a faulty rear brake pressure switch for about £8.

I've had a look around to see what may fit as a spare, other than getting your hands on one from quodzilla the one that looks as close as you are going to get is a filter off a crf250 or the crf450, problem is they are about £48 plus post

Thanks mac10biker, just to be clear the fuel cap gasket removal has fixed my bike stalling at random when out for a ride when pulling up to junctions as the tank can now breath and remain balanced. The issue on start up is different.........the bike when cold starts on the button, runs up on higher rpm as it should when cold and then settles all good no cutting out.....when the engine is hot or has cooled for a bit again starts on the button runs for a bit then stops, does this once or twice depending on how hot the engine is then ticks over fine. I am planning to go over all the hoses, clips and screws to be sure there is no vacuum leak but wondered if it could be down to valve adjustment gap as the clue i guess is no issue when up to temp.........appreciate any thoughts on this

Thanks Graham & Andi, that looks similar to the wk one, as it seems to 'hug' the pump a lot closer with no gaps, though a different mounting style used ...

Update-
CRF style filter hole Diameter is (according to aliexpress search) 7.21mm but WK needs to be 11mm !

Well done Graham, thanks for that - didn't think to try wk doh as on their website they only offer the whole white plastic assembly, fuel pump, filter, wires etc at ~£125
18 Fuel Pump Assy 31350039 - just in case anyone needs the whole thing.

I guess I better'd get one from wk to make sure it fits.

I've been in some strange places with broken bikes, there's alway a quick fix or a way to get you back on the road,
Last resort leave your bike somewhere safe and go back once you are sorted.

Just to confirm if anyone needs new pads, EBC FA664 brake pads are a match for the front caliper (thumbs)

Just fitted them today so not used them in anger, but hoping they are better than the factory fitted ones.

Just got this email from Jon @ EBC this morning, and just confirms what Glenn posted earlier about the rear brake pads not being available from EBC

It is different to anything we have – I have trawled the internet after find some info that anther guy had posted on the ABR forum – yes the pad is the same as a Shineray XY400GY but other than some dodgy Chinese sites I cannot find it anywhere. I think it is the same pad as used on the SWM Silver Vase so have asked a contact for a sample.
I have allocated it a new number FA697 but will need new back plate and compact mould making so wont be quick. Will keep info on file and will keep you advised""

Yes they do look a perculiar shape if the earlier image is correct.Im suprised they didnt make them the same as the front pads....better go easy on theose rear brakes lads :pinch:
