its your own fault neil .. thats what you get for saying you wanted a new spring
good job you didnt want two springs :side:
a good start point is to find out what the standard springs are and then go on the racetech website and use their spring calculater.once you have resprung and and put fresh oil in the forks try it for a while then think about revalving if you think the cost will be worth the gainsSpadger wrote:, cheers Mick , will keep an eye on date , me and her of to Spain for a couple of weeks December and tripping in Jan / Feb , but the bikes have just been fixed could do with being bent and broken again ! , on another note got a good yoshi exhaust of Chris on here , cheers , and looking to upgrade suspension on both , shock / Spring advice happily received ( no arguing ) I know , buy a better bike but have had ktm's wrf's etc these do the job for us when we're away without worrying to much about services etc , and the exhaust 'll make it sound like a really big and powerful thingmicksea wrote:spadger might make one in if he isn"t away.....just as an aside, kirten has a camping area, might be too cold though so bunkhouse sounds better (thumbs)
That's a good price for the 250 rally, I paid £4000 3 years ago for the crf250l, with a full yoshi, and a great px price on my er5, I've hammered it, 10000 miles of tough going and all I've done to the bike is, 2 oil and filter changes, and a set of rear pads. I love the look of the rally, but that big wide belly pan faring, I'd have smashed that 10 times over by now. Still a great buy for the greenlane beginner. Overall is doesn't matter how good or bad any individual is as long as it's enjoyable. We all like to upgrade our toys - seems to be a bloke thing. And if it makes it a bit more enjoyable then what's not to like?
