Sorry Steve, had things to do on Sunday, there is always the next meet, Sid and Bob will be there just have to get Roman back over ? I have to concur about the bikes handling though, some decent testing ground and the bike just lapped it up, brilliant on all the terrain, then a 130 mile ride home ! (thumbs)

Quick query on tyres: they have offered me a choice between Dunlop Trailmax or Heidenau K60's.
I have no idea which ones to opt for; thoughts?

Paul,
The K60 IMO is a good tyre for the road and light dry trails but tbh will not get you off road proper, I have not used the Trailmax so cannot comment on their ability.

It comes down to how you will be using the bike.

I had The OEM Trailmax on at the Sweet Lamb gathering, they were regarded as road tyres by the organisers. At 90/10 road/trail this supports that view. I am not a trail rider but they seemed OK on dry(ish) tracks. All my riding is on the road so they are good for me. Check out the road/trail % of the K60 and hopefully get some views on here.

I would agree with Sarge the K60 is okay on road and dryish trails. With such a light bike it is better off road than it is on heavier bikes. Haven't used the Trailmax but it looks a road biased tyre. I would be interested in what other people are using. My preference off road would be the Mitas, has anyone used these on the GP450?
Cheers Jak
