Sold an XL600 when I went to Oz back in the 80s and bought a much older XT500 out there - a better bike all round (thumbs)

Loved mine, apart from the brakes or lack of. It would start 1st kick from cold as long as you didn't faff around and just gave it a damn good kick. Sold it for £1200 and it was in great condition, wish I had kept it as I reckon an easy £4000 these days. :woohoo:
