You don't get it do you? the handouts are for me to find a job for these people who are largely unemployable. I wouldn't pay the basic minimum wage to any of them ordinarily, because they think being 'British' the World owes them something.

A genuine question but you can get grants to employ basically unemployable people?Seems like madness.

So you vote leave and you can basically say: "Two fingers to the people in Wales because I don't live there anyway. Who gives a fuck if they have no job, they should move to an area that has one for them"

And the country needs to "pull together" now the out voters "won" the referendum ?

I voted remain, my point was the EU handouts I get are thrown at me to employ people that are from deprived areas, been unemployed for more than 12 months, been made redundant, apprenticeships etc etc. The people I employed from outside the UK came to me fully qualified and willing to work, there is a difference trust me. My final point was, when the grants run out I have to make a decision on who I can afford to keep and who I can't. Even having up to 50% of some of the wages paid it would still be in my interest to keep the employees with the best work ethic and value to the business, sadly that is unlikely to be the aforementioned !

Sarge you get British tax payers money via the eu to employ people your happy with then why do it unless there's an advantage to you ? And yes we do get it .

Sorry Sarge, I quoted the wrong post in my anger over ignorant people who'd rather see more unemployed people in areas that aren't exactly blooming economically than have the EU doing things for the greater good of mankind

Here's the post I should have used:

Any of us who employ staff, be that 1 person or a 100 would love to have 50% of the wages bill paid by the EU :silly: .
Hearing things like that make me glad I voted OUT.

(That is not an attack on the original poster by the way, just an observation on what bonkers things the EU can do).

Not saying the EU is the best thing ever but it is helping people in YOUR country where YOUR own unelected House of Lords seems to do fuck all for Wales.

Not entirely true. Neil Kinnock and his family are Welsh and they have done pretty well from both the UK government and the EU. :laugh: :laugh:

Nope. You got that wrong mate. I voted to get out of the EU for so many reasons. I would have voted for a crocodile in drag if meant getting out of the EU. :laugh:

Your wrong there mate. The UK government has poured millions into Wales and has been doing so for over forty years. I know this for certain as I was once considering a new industrial in Newtown. Try laying the blame on the Welsh Assembly, they have the control over Welsh investment and where the money gets spent. If you really are concerned about Wales and Welsh industries, why not question the actions of Tata and the joint ventures with German steel manufacturing. Then you might appreciate why the Port Talbot works will inevitably be closed down. This was going on long before the In / Out vote. Nothing to do with the UK being in the EU, but a lot to do with on going pension liabilities and the ability of the Germans to subsidise their steel industries. Something that they can do, but the UK can't under EU rules.

Well what about that, after all of us here talking and getting angry ( some of us ) now the Country screaming to vote in hahahahaha, this is got to be the biggest embarrassment in the history of the UK. Why the leavers thought that the politicians would tell the actual truth?
