As said the powder coating is poor quality and I had an alloy rack crack after less than a year but other than that fine, my trekker outback box is great.

ive done a fair few of these sorts of jobs, boxes and brackets and stuff, its a bit hit and miss as to if they fit or how they fit, givi are not too bad, ive had some totally wrong and some just a little wrong.
the ones that always fit without fail are the geniune ones (ei honda/yamaha etc etc) but then you really pay for it.
for my own bikes i have always just made stuff like that, its just cheaper and saves the faffing about of "do i return it or modify it" conundrum...
recent years has seen a big drop in QC in all aspects, from aftermarket parts/accesories to genuine parts and even bikes, mostly its cost cutting that is the cause, things are made cheaper and faster....
There car industry and typically after market parts seem to be going in the same direction.
