Motorcycle power distribution block?

Post by SteveR »

I am looking for one to tidy up the rats tail mess under the seat of my trail bike. Does not need to be switched from the ignition, although it might be nice! Individual fused outputs nice, but again, not essential.

Can any one recommend a unit and supplier please as I am struggling to find one!

I use one of these. Nice function to be able to move the fuse position. This changes from switched live to permanent live. Again depends how much you want to spend

+1 for eastern beaver, cracking piece of kit and small enough to mount in several places.

Me too, expensive for what it is, but good quality.

Thanks all. I am now going through the various options that have been listed here. (thumbs)

I had wondered about going up to Maplins and build a DIY box, but thought there might be some cheapish options. £30-40 is about as much as I would want to spend, so even though there look to be some very nice bits of kit with neat PCB inside, they do seem rather expensive for a ratty old dirt bike! A simple box and connectors will do me I think.

The PDM60 looks nice, at a price! The eagerbeaver has some nice touches I have to say, and the NippyNorman option of a non switched outlet would be extremely useful for a battery charge!

Mark's box or Herman's DIY are the faves ATM for pretty obvious reasons!! ;)
