Just after the getting to England in the most interesting way. Once I'm in blight it's on the motorway and home.

Lots of suggestions. I'll have a squizz at this over the weekend. Start planning a route. Figure while I'm there I might as well have a look around. Only been to Fort William before really.

Think I'll hit the A9 then A82 (Gotta see if I can spot Nessie!!!) then follow it to Glasgow.

From there I'll be happy to take suggestions to a good entry point to England but may just motor it from that point.

A82 down Loch Ness can be bus / caravan / camper van / suicidal motorbikes hell at times. For a route less travelled, try the east side of the Loch and sample some of General Wades roads, and then join up with the A82 at Fort Augustus.

The A713 from Ayr to Dumfries if your that side?

Hmm

Think I'll get as far as the Loch ness viditor's center then double back and follow those old military roads. Looks nice.

I love that this stuff goes on - Just wish I was able to find these things easier.

I think I'll do the Taffy Dakar next year - didn't even know it existed until a forum memeber mentioned it.
