Newbie sidecar builder from Buckinghamshire

Post by Agent Wayward »

Hi all,

I run a business called 3 Wheels Better, which is based near Oxford, I live in Bucks. We used to be Motopodd.
Just got back from the Elefantentreffen, did the trip with 3 other outfits.
Here's a pic of the expedition outfit I built for the trip in the 4 days prior to leaving. It's my own sidecar frame with a large alumiunium box designed to take all my camping kit etc. Bike is a 2009 650 Versys, lowered for better handling, snow tyres, etc. Split charge relay and battery in the sidecar powering the Rigid Industries spot and flood lamps, usb charging etc.

Next to it is another outfit we recently built for a customer on an XT660Z Tenere.

Had a great time with my sidecar in'85.
Was long enough to sleep in with the dog, very comfy & covered the whole outfit with old green tarp to keep rain off' slept the night in Sherwood Forest near Nottingham on the way back from Scotland.

Agent Wayward can't publicise his business but don't see why I can't. I don't know him by the way and no i'm not even a customer as I regard sidecars as the invention of the devil ;)

Interesting site though and just down the road....
