Why? He's not a BMW dealer so he'll probably flog it nearer to the £9.5k, giving you £8k means he's only got £1500 quid and out of that he needs to service it, MOT if it's old enough, sort out out any minor damage, put tyres and brakes on if needed, valet it, then reclean every time its test ridden, insure it against theft, damage and for test rides, store it in a showroom for a couple of months, pay for advertising on the likes of autotrader, pay the sales persons salary every time someone enquires about it.....and still make a profit.ianrd wrote:The dealer needs to make a living i understand that,but i expect a fair price for my 12gs to get a win win situation.dealers are selling a 13 plate gs at 9.5 - 11.5

£1500 quid is the bare minimum he needs to make on the bike to make it worth even talking to you.
