That says it all really, and people say Triumph's aren't reliable?johnzxr750 wrote:my tigger 955i has been offroad on road does a lot of commuter miles and has 100500 miles on the clock
Other than pre or very early Hinckley bikes, the 1050's with some engine issues when it first came out, now fully resolved, and the recent issues with the Exploder when it first came out, now resolved. I don't know an unreliable Triumph.
Just don't buy a brand new model, wait until it's been out a year or two for the problems to get ironed out, but that's true of most manufacturers.

My Tiger 955' has done 40,000 miles and only once let me down in all that time and was an easily changed reg/rectifier.
Wind noise is awful but mirror extenders and an MRA screen cured this. The lights on the clocks are crap.
The engine is fantastic, especially if you stick a Blue Flame can on and re-map to suit.
Regarding the comment on the tyres, slap a set of Anakee 3's on and you will love it.
I'm about to trade mine in only because I have had it so long and its time for a change (thumbs)

Just a quick note on the Reg/Rec, if you need to change one, don't change it for an OEM unit, use a Shindingen FH010/012 Mosfet unit, and don't use the OEM wiring loom, stick in new heavier cabling and a new 30amp inline fuse, and wire direct to the battery. Steady 14 - 14.5v charging and no issues with the loom heating up.
