Re: HISS Catalonia 2015
Simon, whats the weather predictions looking like from your end for the HISS week, I had a look today and the forecast looks like I want a wooly sleeping bag overnight temps down to 7degrees...FFS Spain is supposed to be warm.
Its not yet 9pm here yet and it's fecking pitch dark so Headlights and wooly hats could be
haute-de-rigeur and useful.
Sensible replies only..... Ard maybe you could give us a clue? mvg.

Would you say its not worth bothering bring plastic body Armour. Shall i just stick to the textile jacket? whats everyone else doing. i'm leaving tomoz so need quick answer.
Was only bringing body Armour as i thought it would be to hot for my jacket. Just chucked it out of case, i have room for food or beer now. (thumbs)

Safety first Ferdi....... take it as well as jacket and if it's too hot.... you can always leave it in the tent.

The ground in Catalonia is harder than in Thetford Forest..... MUCH harderFERDINAND PICK wrote:Would you say its not worth bothering bring plastic body Armour. Shall i just stick to the textile jacket? whats everyone else doing. i'm (thumbs)
Lots wear MX shirts with full armour, I wear a full mesh jacket with in built joint armour etc. For me, the heat is the biggest factor in riding. Mind from what was said earlier, it may well be full thermals.

Vented jacket and something tight fitting in silk! As for the ground being harder than thetford , that's sand and dogshite!! A rock in the ribs is worth a tree in the chest. Old Norfolk proverb boy..
