Go-Pro - what would you change?

Found a great video then post it up here. It doesn't have to be about bikes.

Has anyone considered the Lidl HD camera, great little piece of kit for a fraction of a Go-pro.

I think you can download a lite version of iMovie for the iPad and iPhone.

Lots of speculation currently about the GoPro 4.

Many sites over the last day or two are suggesting the release date is back on track for early to mid October with October 8th being widely cited (GoPro historically release a new camera in October of the year).

Being a gadget nut and GoPro fan this is almost to much excitement. A bit like waiting for Christmas as a kid, sad I know (thumbs)

Currently being quoted as the Spec are two versions:

Black - 4K at 30fps better sensors and new A9 Chip amongst others and better low light and audio capabilities. A serious bit of kit.

Silver - As the Black but no 4K mode. It will have a built in Touch Screen though.

I hope it is an oversight but no one is mentioning Image Stabilisation that was listed when the Spec was first leaked.

I also read and saw pictures of a new entry level model just called the "Hero". It is apparently built in to the hard case and probably won't be BacPac compatible. The case mounting seems to share GoPro's normal method so all mounts should be usable.

I've had the original gopro and diverted to Drift x170. Then Drift Stealth, by far the 170 was easiest to use, better value for money and you didn't need to be best friends with Bill Gates to have a computer to read the files.
I've now got a Hero3 but ditched the rubbish mounts. I use RAM mounts. The gopro is fantastic, I limit to 1080 max because YouTube uploads drop the quality anyway.
I wouldn't ? go back to Drift but there's one main feature I miss, the zoom. Staying a safe distance behind a group to video means they always look far away with GP, the drift was able to zoom in for closer footage.

Does anyone have problems with condensation, notice my camera gets really hot. At the West Wales i had a wet spot right in the middle of the lens, what would have been a great pic in the lanes looks like shite.
Any pointers
Steve
