I'm sorry I have not managed to catch up with our blog. Our two year trip was cut short into the 2nd year due to Darren's mother being taken ill.

So we have been taking care of her which takes most of our time. Now we have managed to get some help for her if gives me some free time and also Darren was offered a part time job at Colin Appleyard Motorcycles where he now works part time.

Colin Appleyard Motorcycle Keighley hold a few of these event per year ( a evening with ). Always motorcycle related. The events are free to all and there will be free pie and peas and drink at the interval . There is a donation bucket for anyone who would like to donate to Macmillen Cancer support.

It's the first time we have ever do anything like this so were both quite nervous . This week were working on the short movie clips of the trip which will also include the 7 months I missed out from our blog.

We hope to see some ABR's there so please come up to us and make your self know.

Thanks very much . Leigh x

Anyone coming a distance we have room for about 4 , 2 man peg down tents and 3 self standing tents on a hard surface .

Sorrry to hear about Darren's mother I well appreciate how this can take up your time. As I've said in another thread on your talk sorry I can't make it as it is a bit far from Folkestone and we are catching the ferry on the 29th to France. Would still love to hear the second part of the report so if you are doing a video of your 'talk' or even have a presentation of the photos pop them on the forum for those of us too far away to attend please. B) (thumbs) It is good to get the pillion view of the trip.

After Leigh went through extensive treatment for Breast cancer in 2007/8 we were so grateful for all the help we received that we are trying to give some back and are now giving a presentation about our RTW Tour to raise money for the McMillen cancer support.

I'm just putting the finishing touches to my "Pillions View of the World " presentation .

anyone interested in attending this FREE evening there are 3 ways to book seats .

You can ring 01535 606311 ...or drop a email to... bikeskeighley@colinappleyard.com

or log on to Colin Appleyard ltd on Facebook and find the link to the evening with and book seats there.

Free food and drink on the evening and a Raffle with all proceeds going to McMillen Cancer Support. Plenty of great items to be won on the nigh.

Hope to see you on the night. Leigh and Dazzer
