An excellent idea! I`m going to drop in at winterfell on my way past next week, Doune castle near stirling Don`t thinks theres anywhere else they filmed in Scotland although I did the Skyfall road a couple of weeks ago, sadly the Volvo wasn`t as dramatic with me standing next to it lol!

hehe, did notknow that game of thrones was filmed in actual locations, knowing how much special effects were used in creating the sceneries.

I know it was used by Monty Python in the "Holly Grail" becouse the National Trust would not let them film on any of their property.
