If he had a voicebox transplant, and they implanted some vocal expression into his brain at the same time, he'd be OK. It's when he opens his mouth that it all goes wrong.macvisual wrote:Hmmm first time listening to this tosser, annoying twat, he talks like he's at primary school. Something tells me I don't like him.

He's such an absolute "£$t that its difficult to get through his puerile approach to get to the odd bit of interest--I watch it with extreme difficulty !--my choice I know!!
The most annoying thing is that he seems to have plenty of money through other TV types thinking that he is a good investment--Makes Charlie B seem not quite so bad !!

I did`nt used to like Henry and turned off his show!
But, he has really grown on me now and after watching all his travel shows as well, I feel as though I would enjoy a Pie & a Pint with him! (thumbs)
Does that make me a bad man? I`m worried now :S

Re: New series of The Motorcycle Show
Ha ha!!! My other half can't have him at all. I know what you mean though....when he is commenting over the show his voice doesn't have natural tonation or inflex. And when he does put some tone into his voice it's in the wrong places. Weird though, as when he's on camera chatting to people his voice is quite normal!
I don't mind it though....at first I did, now it's just a foiball that I've got used to.
There is a motorbiking show on peak time viewing, and for that I'm grateful. Otherwise I'd be forced to watch One Born Every Minute, Made in Chelsea or other similar sh1te that makes me want to rip my own skin off rather than watch it!
Yep.....as someone pointed out, the same lines are trotted out "The handling.....was sublime", "The superb vistas" and "Kindred Spirits"...but the way he says it I think it's a bit of a piss take. At least I choose to look at it that way.
His pad looks nice though....I have severe shed envy!
Fair play, he's done alright out of riding a motorbike all over the place! If I could have his job, I'd swap in a heartbeat!!

No, I met him at the NEC bike show last year.900Fantrider wrote:I did`nt used to like Henry and turned off his show!

I went out for a smoke and Henry was also out having a smoke.
Really nice guy to chat with, not the slightest bit up himself.
After that when he passed the ABR stand he give me the nod for a fag break.
So, I'd also happily have a pint with him, he's full of interesting tales.
