I just read that yesterday. They are indeed very positive about the NC750.

The GS engine is, apparently, no longer made in China, & was only assembled there anyway. No?

Is it just a styling change for the BMW?

Not really a fair comparison though, the natural sparring partner for the NC750x would be the F700GS not the G650GS.

I suspect the F700 would be better at most things apart from MPG.

I had a G650GS for a while and it is definitely built to a cost.

I was in thr BMW dealership earlier, the new 650GS is a lovely looking bike.
And now, Harry, let us step out into the night and pursue that flighty temptress, adventure.

Although personally I wouldn't use one (Yet?), I do like the DCT clutch system available on the Honda. Not a light bike though at 229kg with this system, ouch.

I spend more time riding in mainland Europe and North Africa than in the UK, so what really pees me off with ALL BMW models is the inclusion of an old fashioned analogue speedo. I'm fine with an analogue rev counter, but the speedo needs to be digital so it can be switched easily between MPH and KPH.

Ditto the fuel computer. What the feck use is a computer that measures consumption in MPG when I can't buy gallons and I'm normally travelling in KM. So as you can see from my signature I track consumption and likely range in KM/L.

Is there much difference between the slightly older Honda 700cc compared to the new 750cc.....? Where have they upgraded bits and pieces on the newer Honda NC750cc ?

Thanks;
Pete

The750 has an extra 75cc and the brakes are no longer linked .thats it
I have an auto 700x and a gs 1200
The honda gets used far more also its a far better bike than the 650 bmw
