Taken just before I set off on my 4 day trip to Scotland last year:
Pretty industrial with the duct tape and gear wrapped in a bivvy bag, but it never fell off, and although we never had rain, I reckon my stuff would have been dry no matter
We took the bike over to France at Easter, first trip since getting my new panniers. Bike performed impeccably ans even managed a few laps on a track day whilst we were over there!
Packed and ready to go home after Taffy Dakar and trip round Walters arena courtesy of the Touratech guys. 6man family tent was ideal for the group but a big old bit of kit to carry.

This was me just prior to a 3 day jaunt in the Scottish highlands and west coast. I keep my camping gear in one pannier, and my personal clothes etc... In the other. My tent sits in a dry bag on the seat. My topbox remains empty so that I can use it for my helmet when I stop.
