Avoiding Bank Holiday roads like the plague!

So, in the workshop for the entire w/e, a bit of fettling on the GSA to get it ready for the Round the Baltic trip in July, fire up the Blackbird and get it ready for its MOT and sale, sort out the windscreen washers on the Turbo R, tidy up the Merc ready to put it on Ebay & make way for the new one.

Radio 4, lashings of tea n cake, peace & quiet. Bliss. (thumbs)

If I checked the weather I would never get out, theres no such thing as bad weather for a bike ride, only bad preparation and wrong clothing B)
Will be doing a lap of Scotland rain, wind, or snow, if any one fancies a wee bimble friday saturday with a bit of camping thrown in

Up to Scotland again, dropped the missus and Daughter off up there last weekend so back up for the 4 day w/end for some diy on the house up there. Hoping to get out and do some kayaking and hill walking in between. Been at home on my own this week so to work on the bike every day and long way home every night via the coast the last two nights and a bike night tonight.

Greenlaning down into Hampshire on Fri with Trf
Quick dash down to Devon and back to collect new bike Sat ( don't ask)
Sunday my old mucker Jez is coming over to change some fork seals on the 690 and then I need to prep new bike for an LDT the following w/e in Gloucester.
Monday is a family day B)

Iam booked on tne 0745 ferry to Troon from Larne on the 18th. What i will do when i get there is anyones guess. But it will include my bike and a tent. (thumbs)
