easter weekend -sailsbury area
Re: easter weekend -sailsbury area
Hi Rich,
thats the spirit its bone dry up on the plain so we will be spitting dust:woohoo: :woohoo: , I use a oversize on the front of my bike for road work and find it no probs off road just use first and second , but the sticky mud is a real bummer I just go gungho through it.
I was gonna try if we have time in the afternoon to do the Old shaftesbury drove between salisbury to shaftesbury and back via zig zag hill and another little green lane etc, will see on the day how everybody feels etc probably a 2 hrs easy green lanning with nice views and cool air.
see everyone later

Hi Richard, not that I know about the plain is dry even the nine mile river section, if we come across any there will be away round it.
Unless you particulary want some deep crossings which I can supply :woohoo: :woohoo: even the droves are dry as we`ve had no heavy rain for 4 weeks now.
everything will be hard backed even where the tanks play just huge cratters to swallow your bike never to be seen again...
see everyone tommorrow, we have a nice breeze today and got my pork pie for my lunch.
