There just throw over bags. There is a grill spacer between the exhaust and plastic side panel to stop the bag pushing the panel against the hot exhaust . The other side of the bike I have a small bracket running from the foot peg hanger to the rear rack which stops the bag moving in towards the chain . Works a treat and nice and light. The Spanish Biker wrote:Nice one Dazzer - what I have in mind for my BETA Alp. How have you mounted the panniers'

On route to a camping weekend in South Wales. So proud of myself after years of over-packing I got everything into the top box and panniers.

Back from a weekend marshalling at a rally - three season bag - warm clothes - cooking gear - self inflating mat - down jacket and waterproofs... with the addition of a bottle of Red Stag and another of Icelandic schnapps on the outward journey.

Brilliant photo and bike. I had the earlier version with drum brake - well, when I say brake . . .paco2cv wrote: Packed up ready to go to the Bol D'Or to cheer on Team Bike. Checked the date and it was 30 years ago now....
That was way back in 1980. Shame I never went abroad with it though - too busy too-ing and fro-ing to Mrs S's and my respective parents . . .
