If you're ever over our way and fancy making a few quid from a commission, let me know, as I'd love to have something like that embedded in our website, as a flavour of the local area.
Enjoyed that, thank you.
Thanks very much! Pleased you enjoyed it, yes I would be interested in that, where are you guys based?
Cheers

corbine wrote:Thanks Andy- Enjoyed that- per chance you can post it over onto short adv you tube vids with music thread?
(even tho its vimeo-its worthy addition-)
link below..

Also can you say what the res was and the frame rate ? or were they various res/frame rates? amongst the hundred plus parts to your movie? how long to edit? (im still learning how to use my go pro 3)
I tried uploading the video to YouTube but there was the issue with music copyright and there isn't a way round it that I know of. Which is a shame because A. YouTube is so popular and B, it doesn't appear as link quite so interesting to watch at first glance.

I filmed in 1080p and 30fps, the quality is amazing from the raw footage but these websites compress the files and Vimeo slightly downgrades the quality.
I edited the movie when I was away, I took my sd card connection kit and edited on my ipad in the evenings. So when I got home I just finished up a few lasts bits and sorted out the ending.

And the sped up sections were using the time lapse feature of the GoPro where you can set the camera to take photos every 1,2,5,10,30 or 60 seconds. Really cool result with the time lapse I thought.

Cheers

Hi Andy - we're in the beautiful Mosel Valley, in Germany, close to the Belgian/Luxembourg and French borders and 30 miles form the Nurburgring. We have some stunning scenery, roads and places and I'd like to capture some for inclusion on our website. (see www.river-valley-guest-house.co.uk)
I particularly liked the style of yours, because - no disrespect intended - many of them are just several minutes of onboard footage on the same road, from a fixed viewpoint. Yours is constantly changing and there are bits I love - like the pan to the couple on the bike on one of the passes, giving a sense of travelling by bike whilst also showing the backdrop scenery, which I think could work really well for us.
If you're maybe thinking of coming over, it'd be great to work together on something. I have clear ideas of what I would like and the places to do it, but really need your creative and technical know-how. I'm sure you'd enjoy staying and the area anyway and we could put you up, look after you and pay a fee. Drop me a pm if you'd like to take it further and I'll give you my full contact details. I'd love to have something in place for next seasons promotion.

I liked that.

I really want to do that myself next year now.

I just went back to the first comment at the very top of the page from myself and clicked edit bottom right of the comment box and changed it from there!
