Show us your ride....
Re:Show us your ride....
Here is the bike that I hope will take my wife and I and our two dogs to Kamchatka in the not too distant future...
Re:Show us your ride....
And here is my most recent acquisition that I took for a 2500 mile jaunt around France. Just to reassure fellow members: the bloke on board is not me, but my friend's son...
Re:Show us your ride....
Heres my 1982 XL500R....

Its a UK bike, all standard except for the Micron exhaust system - but I do have a good std one in store
18 months ago I was riding about on a 50k miles DR600 which was a nice bike, but getting a bit long in the tooth....

So I sold it end of 2009 and got a 2004 Yam TTR600RE which was bog standard, and real cheap with just 6000km...

But, true to form I tinkered with it a bit and added an Ohlins shock and an Acerbis 20ltr tank, lighter end can, etc...

I never really gelled with that bike, it was too "sanitized" and a bit bland
So a few months ago I sold it and found this loverly XL500R :woohoo:

I've also built this 1970 TR6R Trumpet StreetTracker..... for the psuedo off-road look!

My current overlanding ride, a CCM604 photographed during a winter trip to the alps.

Before the CCM, a Honda XR600 - again in overlanding trim. Photographed in Western Sahara

My "just for fun" bikes: firstly a Honda CBX - pictured in the alps
Next a Honda 400/4 - taken in during a "run out of petrol" coffee break in the alps

A few others in the garage as well but I can't find any pics of them at the moment
