I think the only folks who came out well were the two truckers comimg the opposite way - I guess the last thing they needed was to get caught up in witness statements, etc., but they both obviously thought of the biker first - and quite possibly clocked the car driver one too!
Makes you think - someoner pulled out of a village side road right in front of me on Sunday, in the middle of a long journey. If the scene wasn't the village square which I could swerve into I would have had an impact. Yup, I blasted my horn as I followed the wretch through the village - but at least had time to think - 'ride cool, ride safe' and let it go - if you lose your cool you're going to lose it all one day - 'real' truckers know this
