No worries, where we stayed was a brilliant base, 10 mins walk to the menin gate, aldi 200 yards up the road etc.

We camped, but they also did wooden lodges for up to 4 people, they also hire push bikes on site.

As we speak I am sat at the hortensia b& b 10 mins from the menin gate and beautiful location I must say !

Get yourself there about 7.45 and stand by the road inside the arch with your back against one of the columns, this way no cheeky git arrives late and stands directly in front of you.
