I did mine about 6 months ago. Make sure you know the basics about who safe-guards electric shut-offs and the relevant signage. A bit about working from heights and scaffolding regs. Also, this one got me- the minimum depth a trench or excavation needs shuttering. Good luck, stay calm and think things through logically as there are a couple of questions with two right answers but only one counting towards a pass!

Passed the test this morning. :)

Once I've got my card I can go on any site, opening my work options up greatly.

Thanks for all the help guys, appreciated. :)

With all my leads exhausted I decided to pop onto a site that I stumbled across today to see if they needed any brickies.

YES was the answer, but only if you have a CSCS card, I start tomorrow and there's a far bit of work at the site.

And it's only half hour away from home.

Thank The Lord.

You can't believe how relieved I am right now. :)

That's an all round good result. You can bet your life that if you hadn't got the CSCS card sorted the job would have been gone by the time you'd done the test.
