which knobblies you suggest for the XTZ 660 Tenere? I have just bought one, and I would like to use it for some trail riding this winter in the South East and in Wales. So they need to last at least 2000-3000 miles as I ride to Wales.
Thanks in advance for your help

I use Army Specials on mine in winter and for my occasional trips off road on the overweight monster and they're good until you get in really sticky mud when they tend to clog up a bit.Mad Cow wrote:Trelleborg Army Specials?samueleuk wrote:Hi guys

They do make the bike a bit unstable in windy conditions, especially if it's loaded up with camping gear but as long as you ride as if you expect it to throw itself sideways at any moment it's not such a big deal

hi, yep the t63 is ok for up front use on the tenere, wet or dry on the road, though gets clogged quickly offroad. for the rear, the mitas co2 is great offroad and not bad on.
how do I know? i rode to the south of france for a camping/offroading week in june and have commuted on them since, about 5,000miles so far

Re: the yamaha xt 660 rallye raid
I have just checked the website, and the Trelleborg Army Specials rear comes only in 4.75-17 or 130/90-18. Would the 4.75-17 fit the standard rear rim (130/80-17)? Or do I need to get an 18 inches rim? That would be expensive.
