Who else has a Landy then?

Post by Shunt »

Just noticing that there seems to be a few Landy owners on her. So who`s got one?

I`m in with a 95` Disco. Fairly standard but usually gets modified every time I drive it B)

landcruiser is the job, as some guy on TV once said, if he had a choice of what he would bring into the sahara desert, he would bring either a landcruiser or landrover, but if he wanted to come back he would bring the landcruiser.

2007 Defender 90 'TD5' Utility.........One of the very last TD5's and bought new for our farm new and then driven all the way to the Nordkapp in Norway then to the Russian border at Grense Jacobselve(near Murmansk)

Mines a black one with a white roof and boost alloys......No electric windows but it does have a heated windscreen and heated seats and a few other discreet modifications for everyday 'farm use'.......!

Now has done around 35k miles and in very good condition especially for a 'working' one with full LRSH and waxoyled from new......Often!!

It's noisy, cramped, drafty and leaks like a sieve but I like it and it does do what it says on the tin

I've not got one of those 'Landrover enthusiats' bush hats either but we've always had Landrovers and always will but i'm not sure if I'll ever have one of those new fangled things that they're going to replace the trusty old Defender with.............!
