I had until recently a dr350, I would get an xr400 if you can, a little more money but a better bike! I've seen some dr400 come in around the £1700 mark do that may be an option.

I know somebody that used to have an xr600 and said there taller than the 400 , and the 400 is nearly too tall for me, can only just tip toe on one B)

XR400 great bike. You just need to know how to kick start it. DR350 smaller frame and electric start. Few DR400e's about. Think there was a DR350 on the UKGSER forum.
