Yup, Perfect! I'll be there again in Sept! Sat and watched the deer down the bank whilst waiting for the sun to go down. Amazing place.cocker wrote:glad you enjoyed that little wild camping spot outside of applecross, its lovely there isnt it.

Sykesy, if you're still thinking of camping near Loch Lomand on Wednesday night I'm staying here, If you're passing and you fancy meeting up........Sykesy wrote:Just thinking of taking time off work and setting off Wednesday morn from Leeds, and camping around Loch Lomond, then head to Applecross, via the 'Rest and be Thankfull' road, wild camping again just north of Applecross, then hit Ullapool for the friday...if anyone wants to come along. Weather definately permitting!!!
We just did this route last weekend, ride report here>>>> http://adventurebikerider.com/forum/25- ... eport.html

Anyone interested, comment here! or PM me.

Hi Cocker,
I'm going to be camping on Skye Thursday night and will then ride over to Applecross, late morning. Maybe we could catch up somewhere before riding on to Ullapool?
Cheers
