Pal of mine is considering chopping his Sprint ST in for this, gonna view it next saturday if not sold.
Any hints or tips would be welcome, sems a good buy?

All I know is that mention a K1200S to my other half and she start grinning like a loon... she is now possibly blacklisted at every BMW dealer in Europe for the amount of times she has had one out for test rides... she loves the S

I was privaleged enough to own one a couple of years back, I would say that it was the easyest bike on which you could loose a licence if you didn't keep a watchful eye on the speedo.
Super smooth easy handeling mile muncher.
No negatives just a great bike.
If I wanted a sports tourer again I wouldn't hesitate than to get another one.

My mate is now the new owner of this excellent machine. Went with him today to close the deal.
