Re: BudaPest
Check out 'bikercamp Budapest'. As well as having room for tents they also have a few rooms. All in a safe walled area, just a 10 min walk from a metro station. We had a great 3 night stop here, allowed us to leave the bike and explore the city.

Flew down from Aberdeen yesterday. A long day as home back of 1 last night but a good day was had by all. Nothing really of that size in the North. The Scottish show in March is a poor second best. Good to see most of the manufacturers.

Newcastle/Amsterdam ferry booked for last 2 weeks in June, making the most of 15% off and £60 deposit offer.
Not really sure where we are heading. Quite fancy Poland and Slovakia as not been there since 2007, plus its a bit cheaper than some of the popular countries. To be honest we have a few ...

Hi and welcome.
A great country to travel in. Rode out there a few years ago as far as Safranbolu then south to Cappadocia on to the coast then onto Rhodes.
Good luck with the bike search.

Re: How to Cross a River
Yes , it makes me feel a bit of a whimp if I get a sweat on crossing a Ford !!
My Dad had one in the late 70s/ early 80s, it was called a Cossack then, and he taught me how to ride on a car park in Stoke on it. There was never any danger of even a learner like me tipping the sidecar over as it ...

How to Cross a River
Apologise if already posted. Not so sure my Varadero could do this although it has been called a bit of a 'barge' now and again.

Re: Alpen Strasse 2016
Thanks for the report and pics. It sounds as though you had a great trip and had superb weather, although a bit too hot for the bike at times.
Hope you have got the alarm sorted. Between draining the battery, not shutting off or killing the bike completely, makes you wonder if they are worth it. Let ...
