Thank you every one, the CRF250 is too tall, I like the Serrow but it's age verses cost always puts me off. I have a beta rev3 with long range seat now but it's ability to do road sections between tracks is limited & at mo it doesn't have lights etc. Will have to look at Honda SL230, Kawasaki Super ...

Thanks treadtrader & Tim much appreciated. looks like stand alone devises are generally more robust & purposeful & phone make good backup system.
Now can you recommend the best stand alone system & apps that allows 3rd party map imports if poss. Plus apps that can be used offline (thumbs)

Hi guys / gals could I pick your brains. I'm toying with idea of getting a sat nav but don't know which would be best, getting an app for my iPhone or a sat nav devise, and if a iPhone app, which one, or if devise which one.

Had a go at motogymkhana on Saturday, I didn't fall off, hit any cones or scare myself that much, all though I was V, V, V slow I enjoyed it :laugh: With a few more goes I might learn how to open the throttle in between the cones!!!

Did a trip to Buckinghamshire visited, Oxford, Gloucester & the Cotswold's. Lovely weekend, regardless of the rain.

Second trip much better, actually got to Sheffield Cathedral without scaring any bus drivers!

Interesting trip, ended up in the bus lane between The Springs & Westmorland St, bus driver not too happy :whistle:
