Looks great are you planning to mount any sacrificial around the tank for puncture or grinding prevention if dropped.

I put pro taper on my Vstrom to reduce the sweep back as stock bars had my wrists bent to much.

650 vstrom would do the job nice, no need for 1000. But i might just be biased as my 04 with 54000 on the clock gets me anywhere i need to go. ;)

Had the lumo for 5 years or more and its tough stuff, i wrap blow up bed round tent slide them in the stuff sleeping bag inside and put over back seat.
