Zero is one of the leading manufacturers of electric motorcycles, with an extensive range that has grown to eleven different models, including adventure bikes, dual sport bikes, and naked bikes.
Now, the California-based brand has released the all-new X Line of electric trail bikes that seek to offer low-weight, loads of torque, and a hugely enjoyable riding experience.
Best of all, Zero Motorcycles UK is making the ABR Festival its headline event for 2025, and along with bringing some exciting new features to the event, you’ll have the chance to ride Zero’s brand-new trail bikes at the new X Line Off-Road Course.
Read on to find out more about the new Zero X Line trail bikes and how you can test ride them yourself.
Zero X Line electric trail bikes
For 2025, Zero is releasing two new road-legal trail bikes: the XB and the XE.
The XB is aimed at more towards learner riders, with it being speed-restricted to 28mph so you can ride it with just a CBT.
Weighing just 63kg with a 74V, 2.3kWh battery that delivers 10bhp and 373Nm of torque, it should prove to be a gentle but enjoyable ride, and would make a great urban commuter as well as a lightweight trail bike.
The XB has a range of 47 miles travelling at top speed, with the battery being easily removable and able to charge from 0% to 100% in three hours.
Meanwhile, the XE is designed for longer and more fast-paced trail riding sessions, with a top speed of 53mph, a weight of 101kg, and a range of around 65 miles while riding with an average speed of 31mph.
The XE’s motor creates 20.7bhp and a powerful 635Nm of torque, which should help the XE conquer the steepest of rocky inclines and the muddiest of puddles, something we’re keen to enjoy at the ABR Festival this year.
Both bikes come equipped with suspension that’s tuned for trail riding along with switchable traction control. The XB retails at £3,710 while the XE costs £5,410.

We reckon that for a bit of Sunday greenlaning or having a go in an off-road park, electric bikes are a fantastic choice, because you get to experience the joy of throwing a super lightweight bike with instant torque delivery around off-road with having to worry about range.
At the ABR Festival this year, Zero is bringing an all-new experience: the X Line Off-Road Course, which will allow you to be one of the first in the world to test the the XB and the XE on thrilling trails through the beautiful Ragley Hall Estate.
Plus, Zero will also be providing test rides of its other bikes, including the DSR/X adventure bike, an impressive machine which we’ve tested and enjoyed riding ourselves.
