Suzuki has announced the availability of the new V-Strom 1000 as well as confirming the service intervals of the bike.
The new V-Strom 1000, which was officially revealed to journalists last month (check the ABR verdict in issue 20), is set to arrive in showrooms from February 17th with dealers already taking deposits on the machine.
As well as that, Suzuki has announced that, due to ‘extensive development’ of the bike’s engine, service intervals will now be fewer and father between. The first service remains at 600 miles and subsequent intervals will take place at 12 months or 7500 miles.
“We were delighted with the feedback the new V-Strom 1000 received at its worldwide press launch last month, and even more importantly, we’ve been really encouraged by feedback from potential customers who have been able to take advanced test rides on our recent nationwide dealer tour,” said Paul de Lusignan, Suzuki GB’s general manager. “This is clearly a highly anticipated and eagerly awaited bike, not just for customers but for Suzuki, too, and we’re looking forward to customers being able to get their hands on it from next month.”
The new Suzuki V-Strom will be available from February 17th and will have an RRP of £9,999
