We’re about a month late reporting this new touring range of clothing from Triumph, but having checked it out at the local dealer in Stratford upon Avon, I thought it worth a mention.
The jacket and pants are constructed using Sympatex and having once spent the best part of two days in a lab with a German professor testing the bloody stuff I can vouch for it’s performance and the relentless intensity of the boffins they employ. I’ll tell you now, I cracked well before the Sympatex fabric.
Here’s the press release from Triumph in their own words and a piccie of the Tiga jacket…
For customers wanting the latest and greatest then the Sympatex© touring range will give you the highest quality product range with the utmost all weather riding performance.
The range which consists of the Sympatex©Tiga jacket, Sympatex© riding jeans and Sympatex© Expedition gloves can be yours for £485.00.
The products have an Hitena© water repellent outer shell, a high level of abrasion resistance and tear strength from the yarn twisted fabric, Sympatex© intelligent membrane and are waterproof, windproof and breathable.
Both the jacket and jeans come with a body mapped removable lining. The jacket having fully adjustable waist and arms, night reflective 3M tape, and removable dual density back insert. The jeans have adjustable knee protector pockets allowing for varying knee position, ankle to thigh length zips, hip padding and reinforced knee and seat areas.
Add to this the gloves with their hard knuckle pads, visor wipe, raised wrist panels with double strap fastening and Keprotec abrasion panels and you have the ultimate riding package.
