Enduro rider Jonny Walker has extended his contract with KTM and will remain with the Austrian manufacturer until the end of 2017.

Following on from many years racing in youth championships, Jonny has been making a name for himself in the elite categories and 2015 has been his most successful year to date.

Speaking about the news, Jonny said: “Extending my contract with KTM is great. I have a huge amount to thank them for. Things are going great now, but it wasn’t that long ago that I had a shoulder injury and was suffering with glandular fever.”

Jonny got past his injuries and his performances have been on the up ever since. Last year he picked up wins at Erzberg, Romaniacs and Sea to Sky and carried that form over into 2015. So far this year he has claimed first prize at Alès Trêm in France, Hell’s Gate in Italy and The Tough One in England.

His next race will be the Red Bull Romaniacs on July 14-18 where he will compete as the defending champion.
