WIN the tour of a lifetime when you test ride a Harley Davidson this April
Written by Bryn

Surprising as it may seem, you don’t need an adventure bike bedecked in every off-road accessory to have an adventure. The truth is, in our book, any road-going trip on a motorcycle to a new location, be it in on home shores or across into mainland Europe and further still, is an adventure. Maybe it’s the thrill of not knowing what to expect en-route – and the joy when you finally get to a chosen location. After many online reconnaissance hours, the reality, though, is more often than not a far greater and rewarding experience.

A motorcycling adventure is not just about men and women beating whatever is thrown at them, living off rations and carrying a spares package that includes fuel, tyres and liquid metal. There’s just as much accomplishment to be had clocking up mileage and visiting attractions, natural or man-made, and doing all this in comfort with without fellow riders or pillion.

Escape the tourists and ride these three adventurous, undiscovered mountain passes in the Dolomites
Written by Bryn Davies

I held my right hand in front of my face to check if the bolognese I'd eaten the night before might've caused me to hallucinate. I'd not had the pleasure of seeing the massive rock spires of the Dolomites in person before, only viewing them through a computer screen as I obsessed over their uncompromising natural beauty. I turned off the KTM and took another look at the huge wall rising from the roadside in front of me. It was Cimon della Pala, the Matterhorn of the Dolomites, and it was views like this that had drawn us to the Italian UNESCO World Heritage Site on our summer tour around Europe.

10 tips for successfully selling your motorcycle
Written by ABR Staff x We Want Your Motorbike

When it comes to causing high stress levels and even potential heart failure, selling a bike comes third only behind moving house and getting divorced (although, ironically, both of those circumstances sometimes end up with us buying a bike, instead – every cloud, etc).

Anyway, how quick and easy your bike sale is comes partly down to luck, but can be helped immeasurably by sticking with a few simple, basic rules. If you choose to ignore them you may still shift your bike at your asking price within a matter of days. But you might not. And why make it harder for yourself? A little bit of effort beforehand saves time, and can make you money.
