Get ready for Motorcycle Live 2023… here’s what we’re excited to see this year

The days are getting shorter and the mercury is dropping. That can only mean one thing: Motorcycle Live 2023, brought to you in association with Bikesure Insurance, is just around the corner, and this year’s show is primed to be yet another biking extravaganza.

Unless you’re particularly hardy, you’ve probably put any UK adventures on hold until the weather warms up in the spring, but there’s no better place to get ready for next year’s travels than Motorcycle Live (18-26 November 2023, National Exhibition Centre, Birmingham), where manufacturers will be showing off their latest bikes, gear companies will be selling their best merchandise, and there’ll be halls filled with entertainment.

Advance tickets are already on sale, so to get a discount on your entry, head to Motorcycle Live’s website here and get your tickets today.

And of course, we’ll be there the entire time, so you’ll be able stop by for a chat and meet the ABR team. You’ll be able to get the latest issue of Adventure Bike Rider, hear the latest news on the ABR Festival 2024, and grab some sweet deals on ABR merchandise.

But what else is on at Motorcycle Live? Here are some of the things we’re looking forward to at the NEC this year.

The latest adventure bikes

Over 45 manufacturers will be at the NEC, fresh from the motorcycle world’s leading trade show, EICMA in Italy, and they’ll be showing off their latest metal.

You’ll be able to get up close and personal with hundreds of models, and in particular, we’re excited about checking out the latest adventure bikes from BMW, Honda, Triumph, and Suzuki.

It’s great to be able to see all the manufacturer’s bikes and compare them under one roof, and you’ll also have the opportunity to take some of the latest bikes for a test ride.

Experience Adventure

If you’re new to adventure riding, you’ll have the chance to take your first steps to riding off-road at the Experience Adventure arena.

Ducati, Honda, Royal Enfield, Triumph, and Yamaha are all bringing their adventure bikes to the arena which you’ll be able to ride off-road under guidance of expert instructors, who will teach you the correct body positioning, bike set-up, and techniques to get started with riding big bikes off-road.

It’s also a great opportunity to test ride some of the leading adventure bikes off the tarmac.

Hundreds of exhibitors from around the world

It’s hard not to feel like a kid in a sweet store at Motorcycle Live. I’m a fan of checking out the luggage brands and seeing their bikes decked out and ready for adventure, as well as speaking with the tour operators to get ideas for my next two-wheeled journey.

It’s also great checking out new gear, comparing kit like helmets, and discovering accessories that you hadn’t heard of before.

Competitions and the chance to win a new Kawasaki Ninja ZX-4RR at Motorcycle Live 2023

Who doesn’t love a freebie? At Motorcycle Live there’s some brilliant prizes up for grabs, including the chance to win the new Kawasaki Ninja ZX-4RR. Sure, it’s not an adventure bike, but I’d be lying if I said I wasn’t excited about the prospect of getting my hands on the mean, green machine.

There’s also the chance to win Cardo’s fantastic Packtalk Neo intercom which is a firm favourite at ABR, and there will be plenty more chance to win over the course of the show.

See you at Motorcycle Live 2023

We’re excited to once again be among the hundreds of exhibitors at Motorcycle Live, and we can’t wait to see you there.
