hi
im hoping do some trails on the boil saturday ...and would enjoy some company
mostly straightforward there is no deep mud or big rock steps or anything silly but it will be moderate going in places .. and could be slippy with recent rain in places ..so a bit of expieriance and suitable tyres would be the order of the day
i understand theres nothing on at the moment so could lead a ride around
stsarting at 10 getting back around 4.30 to 5pm
here a list of runners and riders
thanks ill be up on the saturday morning ..and im hoping to stay
saturday night
so ready to roll at 10am from the site

Mart: im up for doing it (or trying it?) but just dont want to be the burden of a group who can ride a lot better than me. (i have NO idea how to ride off road)
im doing the Ten experience in 2 weeks time, did wander what tyres they used. I wander if there Tens use bar risers?? (im tall so want to be comfy as ive got the two day course)

a lot depends on your confidence in the first place rock and shale based trails can be ok with tourance even in the wet ...
but some of the trails can vary with the weather ..if its been dry and sunny some of the grassy trails will be a easy ride ...
if its been wet they can be very short on traction
your welcome to come along ..try the first couple which are more shale based
and see how the day pads out with the weather
we all have to start somwhere
if its been raining before saturday or on the day ..it will be too slippy for your tyres
im afraid martin is being a bit optomistic if it raining
so confident and dry ..give it a go wet you wont thank me for taking you there ..see you on the day and see how things are ..
heres martin shod on siracs ..and belive me if its really wet your bike wont move at all with standards tyres ..well except sideways maby ..when dry it would be pretty easy to do ..?? never can tell until you get on them
slipping the rear away uphill is usually a piss taking photocall ..but if the front pushes away downhill it can be a heavy fall so dry weather will be essential for you ..lets hope it
cracks the flags
