Just putting out feelers as too how many from over the border are heading south for the Boil and when your travelling?
Chatted with AfricaJim last weekend and he & Fiona will be hauling ass south on the Friday. Route not discussed, but when it is and has been firmed up, it'll appear on here.
So, how many Hungry Hihglanders (and Lowlanders  ) are heading south next month?

As already said, no route discussed but as usual, I'll follow anyone who knows where they're going,,,,, saying that,,,,, I'll follow anyone! LOL! Or point me in the right direction and I'll blindly lead the way to oblivion!

Have you any idea what time you are likely to be hitting the borders? I am aiming to take a scenic route to Kirby Stephen so could possibly meet up with you at Moffat or Longtown, if that was ok?fionaann wrote:http://maps.google.co.uk/maps?saddr=elg ... ,2&t=m&z=9

On another note, there is a slightly more interesting road than the M74 you could follow down. If you zoom in on your google route/map you will see a road the runs parallel to the motorway, it is the B7076 which you can access at Junc 9. Just a thought.
