I cant understand why Yamaha did not fit a Chain guide to their Xt660Z Tenere
What do you think your bike should have had fitted as standard form the factory that was missed out ? and if you fitted it what was it?
Here is a XR400 chain guide that I had to fit to the Yamaha.

perhaps youve found a niche dazzer, and if you can come up with a good value universal guide you might be onto something.
my varadero is the other way round, it doesnt need anything but i wouldnt mind if it could lose 40kg

For some strange reason the nice people at yamaha decided that YBR's didnt need a sidestand :silly:  . So i got one from a later model and fitted it on. As my model still has the mounting braket. Only problem is it now doesnt have a kill switch. Although i guess ill only make that mistake once :cheer: .

I'm with Davsato but I'd like tubeless spoked wheels as well as the 40kgs off
Still think I could graft wheels from the Caponord Raid onto a dero...overlandero.

A nail repair kit - the amount of times I've been stranded by the roadside with a chipped nail!
Seriously - err not much. I've added heated grips to the CBF but that's all.

My wife liked this, and she could see where you were coming from.
My wife who fell down the stairs, phoned me up to let me know it's okay I managed to get an emergency appointment at the nail shop, to refit the nail extension.

I done it my self on a CD 175!
my most embarsing moment back in the early 80's was forgetting to put my feet down at a set of traffic lights when Red, on a GT 500 2 stroke.
