Hello and good evening from the land of the terminally confused. I have an iPhone 3GS that I have a love hate relationship with. I love throwing it around my tiny SHED (Small Home Eco Dwelling) in France but I hate not being able to change my profile pic or upload photo's. I only have access to t'internet through my phone so don't have a laptop/computerything to upload things from. Can you help?

Answers on a parachute please as I'm perched and ready to throw myself off the SHED roof. (No Dave's were injured in the making of this plea for technical assistance although I did break wind earlier but I think that's just my age)

All is not lost and by throwing the iPhone it may help but then again it may well hinder.... With me so far?


You won't be able to upload such likes as an avatar but you will be able to upload pictures to another site and then 'link' them to your post.

If you use the tapatalk app you can use their picture storage space .... But you will have to pay them - this is probably the easiest way of doing it and is the least techie.

Alternatively get the Photobucket app.
Create an account (free) and then upload to their storage space. You can then use that app to copy the photos tinternet address to your post.



The reason you can't upload an avatar (of you haven't lost the will to live by now) is all to do with the JavaScript code in the page that the iPhone cannot handle and won't work

Wibble........but thank you. I shall throw my spare phone for the moment and try to follow your instructions.

On a separate note, any idea why I am unable to Geotag thingy myself? When I first registered it I was at my friends house. I've now managed to remove myself from his house by pressing a few button doo dah's but now can't get me geotagged at my little piece of mud and grass that I call home.

Basically, I don't know what I'm doing. This applies to most things including motorcycling, parachuting, peeling onions etc...... It's a very very long list!

Hmmmm ok. Apparently my €1.59 has been spent and I now have the ability to upload my pics to Tapatalk. Only problem is, I can't figure out how to. No big button has appeared with the words "upload pics" so I'm now slightly more confused than earlier.

My confusion levels do change during the day but the overall effect is still a dribbling 40 something numpty. It's a look I think I suit quite well though
