Riding to North Cape

If anyone passing through this forum has done the ride to North Cape at the top of Scandanavia I'd like to hear any first hand advice you have regarding route, costs, bike friendly places, what to look out for, cheap places to spend all my cash on drink (wishfull thinking in Norway) etc.
