Special Sections – I took this ride last year with Africa Jim leading, it was such a supurb and glorious ride that I will be doing it again this year.

Durness and some or the beaches

Before a ride around Tongue
Then off for a brew and test your shutter speed and camera finger against the leaping salmon of Shin.



The sweeping Highlands have such a look of Scandinavia it is bizarre. Single track roads abound and secluded beaches dot the coastline as you hug your way in no great rush at all. Then there is the leaping salmon up at the falls - a must see for any sniper photographer.

For mine there is no need at all to put your name down mate as I don't have a limit on how many I will lead

I've made a generic template to cover most of the options I can think of and based on past rides try to ensure that everyone has as many options as possible.

It is also the case that 'things change' and always will, so you may find that some people change their minds, and that's just fine

It simply gives people an indication of how many are interested in a certain ride - so if someone has a limit then it could be looked at that someone else will also take a lead ride and make two groups on that particular ride.

Nothing overly formal.

Cool, I'm up there in June in the car again and will nosey about those roads, always wanted to do Ullapool to Durness on a bike.
