the A470 froM BLAENAUFFESTINIOG TO BETWS-COED was closed today through ice!!!
this is the route i was hoping to ride tomorrow.
we will play it by ear and see what happens

DJ thanks for the heads up.

The clutch issue on my K was more severe than expected, so is not ready yet. However having seen the forecast, I'm no as disappointed as I thought I would be.

Hi It would be wise to go across on A5 im sure that wilol be ok. Im coming up from Portsmouth Im thinking Swindon, M5, A5 i know its boring main roads but they will be gritted, once in Wales I dont mind playing with the small roads. sidecar Joe. Any suggestions where to camp on Friday night ??? or is it the usual layby & Bivvy bag.!!!

I think I will stick to the A5 this time,perhaps give the Horseshoe Pass a miss.
