hi has anyone taken pics of the northern lights over the last 24hrs.as they have been sighted all over the ,uk .cheers al

Theses are a couple over Wick taken Sunday night. Good forecast for some more tonight and tomorrow night, if it's clear.

They really are stunning to see and never really the same twice. Remember when I first saw them years back up at Durness, Balnakeil Bay, I was waiting for the noise, like thunder after lightning, but nothing, it's just eerily quiet.

I was watching the lights on the news last night.. What a sight, can't wait to see them for myself some day :)

Such a shame I can't boom it up north to see them, as the pics people that have been sharing look stunning! :) Thanks for sharing!
