Ive got a £3 99 jobby from local petrol station put a plug on it that fits my sockets = BMW - and stripped the plastic casing off it - made a simple guard to cover the terminals and finger trapping bits wrap it in a cloth in a poly bag = Jobs a goodun I have had one like this for 5 years and quite a few miles 10000 and lots of trailing used it about ten times and still works - when its knackered its in the bin and get another Finished lump is about 2 inch x 4 x 4

I have the slime, not cheap but fits under the seat nicely and seems to take the knocks so far, no gauge though. Can't imagine being more pissed off than having a compressor under the seat all that time then when you go to use it it doesn't work
