Would be great if the grounds drier. :-)
Jim, last minute thing, but it looks like |I can attend this with Alison... if its still going ahead or has it defo been cancelled due to being a tad too moist for you southern types

Steve

Unpleasantly Moist in Yorkshire. Where the sheep are waterproof.

There is a back up plan http://www.adventurebikerider.com/forum ... ekend.html

To cut a long story short, my brother, who lives in Newcastle, has found himself on a campsite in Norfolk.

So I'm off up there on Saturday, coming home Sunday.

It's a dead shame about the campsite that was arranged for the rally, looks like a cracking weekend too.

Many thanks to Jim for organising it, and Herman for collecting all the wood.

Your efforts are not in vain guys, it'll make the next one even better. :)

Thanks again.

Given that the jet stream is forecast to head North around the weekend which, apparently means more summery weather, does anyone want to do a ride around the Salisbury plain area on the Sunday? I am not volunteering to lead, as I am a newcomer to offroading. Just wondering if someone who knows the area would be up for showing a small group around? Should I start a separate thread for this?
I would be up for this salisbury plain ride on sunday

Tommy arroused a few stalwarts to attend.

We managed a couple of run outs on Saturday. Ours was via ON yer BIKE Aylesbury, H's cafe near Oxford & a Posh lunch @ an old Coaching Hotel in the Cotswolds @ Burford.
Then off to Burton on the Water. Everywhere was crowded & the Traffic was awfull so we all decided to call it a day & go home.

So an Exceeeeeeedingly !!!! brisk run back to the campsite saw 175 miles on the clock.

Brian.
